Does PB Blaster ruin paint?

It provides corrosion resistance as strong as any penetrant on the market. It has low-VOC's, so it does not dry quickly. As well, unlike some penetrants, it is safe on plastics, seals, and painted surfaces.
The PB Blaster will slowly dissolve the plastic. Then when you spray the PB Blaster, you will be spraying microdroplets of plastic as well.

Will PB Blaster hurt rubber seals?
It depends on the density of the rubber or plastic. Low density (flimsy) rubbers and plastics will deteriorate from long-term exposure to PB. Higher density rubbers and plastics may have some surface softening, but this will not affect its structural integrity.

The Freeze-Off and PB Blaster applications worked even better. Both of their solvents seemed to have good penetrating power. However, the lower temperature of the Freeze-Off just didnt seem to make a difference.
It will dry in a day or so. Once it does, put something on it that will last longer but will also help to remove the bolt when the time comes. I like to use transmission fluid (ATF) or a product called Fluid-Film. Both have penetrating capabilities but they wont evaporate like PB Blaster and WD-40.
